This year IKC has been through many changes. By updating the corporate identity and changing the name from Instore Kids Corners to International Kids Concepts, we are making a global statement to show the entire world the importance of child friendly environments. Our new style gives the world a much better picture of our organization and our products. These changes have also been made by our colleagues in Asia. IKC Asia has moved from the former office that was 6 stories high to the trendy “1933 XinXin creativity park” in Shanghai. IKC recently added the possibility for glitter play floors to their EPDM assortment. The glitters add a new, spectacular dimension to the play corners. Our team developed an innovative way to mix glitter into the small rubber EPDM particles. Safe kids' corner in your company The shock-absorbent flooring gives children the confidence to discover the kids’ corner in a safe and playful manner. The EPDM flooring minimizes the risk of injury while playing. Adding glitter to the floor enhances the play experience, without affecting the quality or safety of the EPDM. International Kids Concepts came in the picture to fulfil the needs of the young customers. Together with Dekamarkt we have come to a number of fun and educational play elements. The rear walls ensure that the games are well incorporated in the supermarket, designed with the character of this World of Food store and appealing to children. Brand awareness is best developed at an early age

Did you know that brand awareness is mostly developed by children between the age of 2 and 10 years old? Marco Lankman, CEO of IKC Global, explains that he notices that he prefers many brands that his parents used when he was a child. For example he refuels at Shell petrol stations and goes grocery shopping in the Albert Heijn, simply because he is used to them and knows their quality. This is because parents have a large influence, both the good and the bad habits are adopted by children. The ADA foundation conducted a survey which proved: All children, regardless of their age, pick parents as their number one role model. How can you use this information to your advantage?
