Here, safety is paramount, especially since children are playing. That is why all our concepts, from wall games to children's furniture, comply with the European EN-71 safety standard and are vandal-proof. They contain no loose parts and are finished with antibacterial, scratch-resistant paint.

Waiting room kids' play corner
A cheerful waiting area with lots of colours, animals and games for children. The waiting areas of Zuyderland Hospital are completely child-friendly. Playing helps children to feel calm and relaxed, after all, a visit to the hospital is a stressful experience for children. Besides a welcoming impression, it also creates a calm atmosphere while waiting.

Play value in the treatment room
At Maasstad Hospital, children can play throughout the hospital. From the waiting room to the doctor's office. The hospital's mascot, Monkie Maas, can be found on the forex wall covering. The wall games have been placed on this wall decoration.
By incorporating the mascot in the design, the play corner becomes recognisable. The visit is also less exciting, so that the appointments are more efficient.
